ATF Fingerprint Cards

Just ordered fingerprint cards from ATF. How long do they take to ship those out in general? Also, is it bad I ordered 20? I intend to paper about 10 more things.

last time I ordered them they came within a few days. I was very surprised.

I don't recall the exact time frames, but they came pretty quickly all the times I've ordered them. Other materials from the agency ranged from surprisingly fast to an eternity. I suppose it just what they have on stock. But no issues with fingerprint cards, ever.

The cards take about 3 days to arrive. If you plan to paper about 10 items, you will need a few more cards. I understand 2 cards per item.

Have a helping hand "roll" your print. I botched a few cards trying to do it myself and gave up.

So I had a coworker do mine. Helpful tip: ink your finger, roll it on a sacrificial paper, the roll the print card. Or at least try it. Mine were super clear when I did it that way.

Question: Why do you do your own fingerprints? Are you doing Form 1s ?

I bought a pack of 50.. you'll probably burn a few up unless you have help.

Use a baby wipe to clean your finger off. That's what caused me to burn a few cards with stray marks.

I just got them off Amazon, yes I paid, but they came prime next day.

Pro tip, fill out a bunch ahead of time, sign and date when needed.

You can go to OSP and have them done. One payment and they print off as many as you want. At least that's what I did. I have like 20 of the identical cards sitting in my safe for future forms.

Mine came a week after putting in the order.

to be fair I had an ATF agent call me as there was a disconnect on the website with my address.
