CRIME: Pasco man arrested hours after jail release
    By Herald staff

Pasco, WA -- Pasco police chased and cornered a Pasco man who allegedly threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend within hours of being released today from jail on similar charges.

Alex Ben Turner, 51, was arrested this morning on suspicion of violating a no-contact order and threats to kill, said Pasco police.

Officers were called shortly after 9 a.m. today to the Stonegate Apartments near Road 68 in Pasco. A babysitter said Turner was there with a large knife trying to find his former girlfriend.

Turner fled but was caught near the Yoke's store on Road 68. People in the area helped police find a large knife under a car in the parking lot, said police.
