Hello all I just moved to the area and have the time to do a little walking with the 20ga. Where should I start looking? Back east grouse were found in the new growth thickets of birch and maple. Stream bottoms were pretty good too. Are the birds here the same way? I'm running solo right now so if anyone needs a good brush-beater please shoot me a pm.
