Secretary of State white-washed the ballot title and approved it. The Socialist population of Portland and Salem will guarantee it's passage. We are screwed, big time!

You have it wrong......the State's Attorney General is the one who also approves the ballot title....she is the one who wrote it in the first place......there is little hope that the state supreme court will listen to those of us who objected to her description of the initiative petition......most of the state supreme court judges are all liberals who were mostly appointed by democrat governors and then become listed as incumbents on the ballot.......the only hope is to get all our 2nd amendment supporters out to vote this fall. It(IP43&44) must be soundly defeated or a similar versions will show up in the next legislature. I would also wait as long as possible before you turn in your mail-in ballots because the County Clerks start counting them upon receipt and that count is made available to outsiders. That is why you see these last minute voting drives (like whole bus loads of people showing up late on election day). The mail-in ballot law needs to be revise to keep the count secret until the election is over or do away with mail-in balloting completely. If 2nd amendment supporters are willing to get out and vote in overwhelming numbers......and get their spouses and friends to vote as well.....these attacks on our 2nd amendment rights will continue. We've also got to elect conservatives and 2nd amendment office seekers(no matter what level of gov't they are seeking).

I am disappointed by the NRA; they are late to the fight and provide little support when it comes to the state level 2nd amendment issues. OFF / Kevin Starrett is the only organization that has been involved with these fights from start to finish. Kevin has been pretty successful, but he needs more financial support.

We are screwed.........if everyone sits back and thinks someone else needs to take-up the fight! The Portland mid-valley gun owners and 2nd amendment people need to get out and vote.

IP-43 is not going to be defeated by a negative vote in this state. Do the math, the power base is now in the three largest metropolitan areas..all overwhelmingly left wing. If you look at a demographics map it may seem that a large portion of Oregon is still neutral or conservative, but elections are won by voters, not square miles {unless you can figure out a way to register cows). Leftists don't break with the party line, even if that means some measure of personal sacrifice (read Saul Alinsky).

Shoveling more cash to Starrett, will give you the same degree of success that we saw with SB 941..
(if you consider that "pretty successful").​

The only chance is for an injunction coupled with a successful legal challenge, and yes, that may mean the SCOTUS.​
