That's a sort of boon for people like me... because it means the military replacement buckles and plastic hardware stuff will once again, drop in prices as loads of them hit the markets when the Military find a way to not require ordering thousands of the replacement buckles.

Edit. Should also make great scale model parts that's actually glue-able/workable with existing injection molded pieces ;)

And for firearms needs... hm... a 3d printed bullpup take down stock for something like the current PC9..... edit 2 or hell, just a 3d printed chassis and a machined receiver that accepts mag-in grip system for a compact PCC with both takedown barrel and folding stock.
