I am looking at several different online vendors for ballistic helmets, plates, and face shields. Does anyone have experience with AtomicDefense or BulletProofZone? Are they reliable in terms of product testing? Is there a better online vendor you would recommend for these products?

https://www.apexarmorsolutions.com/armor-plates ; they are in WA I believe.

Also good is
www.bodyarmoroutlet.com

Could also try, in WA as well https://esstac.com/shop-all/armor/in-stock-armor/

I've also had good dealings with www.midwestarmor.com for their plate backers and I'm looking real hard at their BALCS SPEAR soft armor inserts for one of my surplus armor vests
Thanks for the info. I will check out the ones you listed. Do you know of any good brick-and-mortar vendors in Oregon?

Not really, no... there is GreyStone Tactical in Salem I think but they are way more money than the vendors I listed... think they get their stuff from Safariland Group or Velocity Systems, not 100% sure. May be able to find police supply stores that sells to civilians? Gun shops is a good possibility, Thor Armory in Albany sells armor plates, and if I remember correctly, so did Fifty One Fifty in Independence.
