16yr old with a stolen firearm get's stopped by your average responsible gun owner in mall active shooter situation. Anyone else notice a trend here??

What I found interesting was that the initial spin was trying to put the glory on a couple of off duty LEO's that were present, only to discover... nope! Just your average law abiding Texan doing his civic duty. It did kind of sound like the off duty's might have been there acting as security for the mall, though.... which is all kinds of good in and of itself... if true. Hardening our soft targets is the only effective means to deter this type of senseless violence and death, IMHO.

I say well done, and Thank You for stepping up Mr. Texan!
