It is lamentable that this particular vermin wasn't dispatched. It would have saved law enforcement and the courts a lot of time and the taxpayer a good deal of funds. Any man who would knife the mother of his own child is beneath contempt.

I'l glad for the guy with the gun he doesn't have to deal with shooting the SOB. He did a very good job of keeping the SOB at more then the 20-21 ft a Knife can kill or do grave injury.

Jim; In general, that is a very good idea, but in this case I think the guy did what needed to be done. This "Bevis" really wanted to be shot dead because he didn't have the guts to do it himself.

I think the good guy might have to re-think the whole idea of carrying and possibly of having to shoot someone. I think he's finding out that the idea of carrying is one thing but idea of actually shooting somebody is a whole different thing.

Seattle is such a liberal socialist city that unless I had to no choice, I would not shoot unless it was really necessary. He drew his weapon and if the guy with the knife charged at him then I would hope he would have the sense to shoot.
