Good for the home owner, hopefully Phoenix laws are realistic and he doesn't have to go through court to get a "Justified" verdict.

The homeowner told AZFamily.com in a brief interview that he won't hesitate to defend himself again in a future break-in.

"If they come in... [they] better come in ready," the homeowner said.

All of them should be delt with this way as a preventative maintaince program

Thankfully, the homeowner wasn't hurt during the home invasion. That said, he should have never talked to the media! The homeowner needs to get another lawyer if he wasn't advised to say anything to the media.

So safely storing his home defense gun with 5 rounds probably would not have been a good idea for this homeowner. I hate to say it but it sounds like, and this is just a guess, the two guys that broke in were not invited and most likely had bad intentions.

This homeowner is probably better off and alive due to his personal choice to be prepared. There are a lot of people who falsely believe this would never happen to them.
