Well the one argument that i have always found useful.
Lets say you and your wife are in a "heated" argument. It happens. No violence not threats just a every day argument. Well ether the neighbors hear you, or perhaps one of your kids is scared and decides to dial 911. Yes that also is a common ocerence. Cops see you have a fire are registered to you. They show up. the guns are put away but since there is registration, there is also a new law to prevent Domestic Homicide that says that if the cops show up to your house because of a domestic argument, they must confiscate your guns for 24-48 hours so that the argument dose not escalate to something else due to a new law passed to prevent killings. Who would not want to prevent killings right? Now your record shows that you have had your guns take away. Confiscated. For something that happens all the time. It is not against the law to argue with your wife. But you are treated like a criminal anyways because you own a firearm.
