The Argentine Peso was tanking royally, but there is some good news today. Reported on Nasdaq: Argentine peso rises for 3rd day, gains slightly this week

Hoping they can shore things up. What they went through a while back was pretty awful. Do a search on FerFal for what it was like to survive their last economic collapse. Smaller government shows that they may have learned something the last time around. I'll never understand why people refuse to learn from Socialist experiments.

It's starting to happen here big time with Socialist candidates winning primaries even when they blatantly lie about their past and it gets exposed, never mind total lack of experience with anything remotely responsible. I guess free stuff sounds pretty nifty until there is no more stuff to give away. Time to spin up on what it takes to stay alive in Argentina and Venezuela, folks, it's coming unless we find a way to stop it. Socialism is the transfer of wealth from the rich and the poor, ALL wealth, to the political class.

I believe there are a few left in Argentina for pageantry. I have a couple of 1891s and when I hear about crisis in Argentina they come to mind.

It's a shame. By all rights Argentina should be a rich, prosperous, well run country. It's the most "European" of South American nations, well educated, and the national character is more disciplined than that of it's neighbors.
It has great natural resources. In the 19th Century Argentina was as prosperous as the United States, and it was thought it would be South America's superpower, but it all went to el infierno somewhere along the way.

I could only find the Madonna version.

When I hear a Barking Moonbat (i.e. liberalis urbanus) spew the meme that socialism just hasn't been done right I want to ask what they suggest could be done differently that hasn't been tried yet. The Left denigrates religious belief as being based solely on faith instead of facts, but believing that socialism is a viable economic system requires a bigger leap of faith than the Cargo Cults.
