I was just looking at my approved From 4's the other day and noticed something strange on 2 of them.

All of my form 4's have a number stamped at the top of them. I'm guessing this is a tracking # assiged to them by the ATF when they are first received.

On 2 of them (from 2001), the stamped on numbers are crossed out and initialed by the perons approving the form. The initials look like "L.T."?

Anyone else have those same #'s crossed out?

The information below is based on my prior career which I concluded in 1996. i don't think it has changed any.
The forms are OK. IAW with federal regulations errors may use a single line strikeout with the initials of the person doing the correction.

Thanks MarkAd.

On both forms, it is not a single line strikeout. More like a series of "loops" to the point where the numbers cannot be read any longer.

The tax stamps are OK and I guess that is probably the important part.
