AR15 rifles are just that , rifles...no more dangerous or deadly than any other rifle of any type or design.
Just how someone uses a AR15 can be dangerous or deadly...but that is the fault of the user , not the AR15.

Its past time to stop blaming the millions of AR15 rifles and their owners for the misdeeds of a few.
There is a world of difference between those who own and use guns and those who commit crimes...One is a citizen exercising a right...the other is a criminal...there should be no "mistaking" of the two.
