Washington AR pistol, loaded in vehicle?

Anyone know what laws pertain to having a loaded AR pistol w/ a 26-1/2" barrel in your truck?

Disclaimer... I am not a lawyer, so don't take my words as legal advice.
That said...
As I understand it, you can carry any pistol loaded in your vehicle as long as you have a CPL.

It might get tricky over 26" because it can now be called an "other" and you can then put a vertical grip on it.... if you carry in your car don't put a vertical for-grip on it.....
Also maybe put a Law Folder on it, to be safe(and super cool)
Remember it's as measured from the end of the barrel, not the muzzle device, and the end of the Reciever Extention, not the brace... recent legislation also says that you measure in the folded position if it is foldable.
Lots of grey, be careful, and read up and Do Not take any advice you get online as gospel.

Its not a pistol with a 26" barrel. Oal from muzzle to end of buffer needs to be under 26" the way i understand things.

In WA state that is one of the nice things about AR pistols. If they are a pistol by state law, then your CPL says you can carry it loaded in the vehicle.

I was not interested in these for many years. Just not my thing. Until I tried one in pistol caliber that I made. Well I fell in love with them. Had me kicking myself I waited so long since it's so damn fun.

I also never wanted one, but since doing a custom build from an 80% it has become a favorite. An AR pistol with a 60 rd drum is kinda cool. And mine is a cheaper one.
