What the Bear said, if you call nodak they well custom make a lower with the bare minimum marking, $$$.

Yeah, I thought about that and have looked into what it takes to get it done but I just don't have the time right now. Seems like it would be easier to try to find one without.

If I were to get one with minimal markings do you guys know if it's legal to weld up the manufactures name? I would think as long as the serial numbers are still there it would be ok?

You are getting into a very tricky area. Before obscuring any factory markings on a receiver, I would request a letter from the BATFE clarifying what the laws are. It is my understanding that the manufacturer name and serial number have to remain on the gun.
