AR 22 conversions; good, bad, don't bother?

I would like some input on the conversions for the AR's. I have only seen a couple used and haven't had any experience with one of them. I understand that almost all of them have some breakin problems or so on. I see that the ones on the forum sold out as soon as they came in. Any suggestions? Would be better off to buy the TU22, AR looking 22 cal setup rather than the conversion?

I finally took my CMMG conversion out to the range last weekend. I used this in my LMT AR-15 and shot about 300 rounds. Used CCI Mini-Mags and had zero problems with this unit. Shot a little low at 25 yards, but all in one hole. With the price of 5.56/.223 ammo, these things do pay for themselves.

The other bonus is being able to use your AR-15 on the pistol range.

Only downside is that these make your gun very dirty. Mostly just extra junk in your receiver to clean up.
