why oly and rra?

based on my personal experence a stainless steel oly but there are lots of other budget barrels on the market that are good

well oly is my choice in the 500 area and RRA is 600. There are some others but they are more $$. Also looking for assembled upper vs parting it. Just seeing if anyone know of places or brands i dont know of.

i did not see the links you posted to those models till just now

thats a pretty good toss up. i have not followed RRA for several years cause they made me mad so im not up to date on their stuff

however

i have had pretty good experence with oly an have had friends and read up a lot on the oly stainless barrels and despite what some may say about the low end stuff oly makes some really good SUM barrels

either way your gonna get a pretty decent upper for your price range
