Any ar chambered for 5.56 will shoot 223 all day long. Those chambered in 223 will NOT safely shoot 5.56

a gun chambered for 223 will shoot 5.56 fine from my experiences. I dont know how unsafe it is I just know the 5.56mm round explodes with a little bit more pressure but not enough to be considered dangerous. My buddy has a .223 Oly and he's always shooting milspec ammo. anyway, just my 2 cents.

Nice price btw. With that EOTech it likes getting the AR for almost nothing
