Very reliable carbine. Just for reference's sake, I included the prices of the components one would have to pay in order to build this gun from scratch. (not counting shipping charges and the own time and effort involved)

CMMG lower (MSRP $180)

Rock River Arms upper (MSRP $575)

16" barrel with Rock River Arms flash hider (incl. in above)

Rock River Arms Operator A2 6-position collapsible stock (MSRP $130)

Troy free floating handguard with dual rails (MSRP $150)

JP Enterprises 3.5lb trigger (MSRP $120)

Extended charging handle (MSRP $10)

Magpul MBUS back-up sights (MSRP $90)

Magpul BAD ambidextrous bolt catch lever (MSRP $25)

Magpul ASAP ambidextrous sling attachment (MSRP $10)

Blackhawk! Sling (MSRP $10)

2 C-Products 32 round mags, 2 addt'l 25 round mags (MSRP $50)

Tasco red dot sight (not the perfect fit for the gun but I am giving it away anyway with it) (MSRP $40)

$1,000 firm

...are absolutely serving their purpose and are super-accurate even at 100+ yds. If you don't like the cheap polymer look, you can spend an extra $100-200 on iron sights.

You might actually be right... :) Nonetheless, they worked just fine even backwards. The direction doesn't make a huge difference - either way you still see a ghost ring and a post
