AR-15 "Build or buy" in these times.

Back in June I wanted an AR but they were hard to find. A lot of people were in a 4+ month wait so I decided to build one. I chose Spikes Tactical because I heard good things and I didn't want to build a multiple brand platform. What helped considerably was using the "email me when available" option at various websites and I could order parts thru the link in the email even though the main website showed none in stock. It took me 4 months and $1200 but I built a 100% Spikes Tactical AR that shoots fantastic. Sorry for the bad pic:
