Anyone willing to loan me some night vision? Lost a front night-sight off my glock.

I was shooting my recently built P80 glock with Holosun and Suppressor height night sights on it. I started off with the Red dot off and used the iron sights, so the front sight WAS there at the beginning. After 10 mags (give or take) of using the red dot, I noticed the Front sight was missing My wife and I looked for about an hour with no luck.

My only other "bright" idea ;p is to go out at night with some night vision and see if it picks up the tritium glow. I live in North Plains, OR (Hillsboro area)

Anyone willing to loan me some night vision for a couple hours?

You might try headed up there in the dark, as the tritium will glow anyways.

Yah, easier to spot with NV, but still worth a look see if you can't access any.

Can't help you with the NV but locktite is your friend on Glock front sights.

Blue is plenty good, if applied properly. There is no I'd use red loctite on sights. Did they degrease the threads first?

Red LocTite is your Firearms(and most anywhere Screws and such are located) Best Friend. It does the job and is VERY easy to Remove, if and when, it needs to be.
