Is there anyone in the beaverton hillsboro area that can help me out turning down some poly bushings on a lathe? I got 8 bushings that need shortened and made a little smaller in diameter. Leaf spring shackle bushing for my 68 plymouth.

Thank you!

Pic of whats going on. They gotta be 1" ot just a smudge under.

What is the ID? Could it be fit to something with a similar ID and then to a drill press? Then sand them in the drill press till proper OD?

Hmm the ID is .650 or so... tried the drillpress thing and after that posted here. Wod take me 10h to sand all of them down
File would take more off at a time and then finish with sand paper. I wouldn't recommend doing it if I haven't done similar.

So far I've shortened them and put a bevel on the edge. Maybe I can press them in with a balljoint press or something. I used the drillpress and a file to get one of them down in diameter but it takes forever....
