If they aren't serialized, ie. home build. Some places will not do work on them even if it's something as little as doing a ceracote. But would still just call around to the local gun stores and ask. You never know. Or just rattle can them and call it good.

@LuckySG is an FFL who does some great work. He's done a couple "in the white" 80% lowers for me. You can't tell them apart from MILSPEC anodized.
