Anyone have tooling to barrel a FAL?

I'm thinking about pulling the barrel back off my FAL and shortening it. I built the gun while living in Louisiana and borrowed a friends tooling to barrel the receiver.......and now he's 2600 miles away. Anyone have a barrel vise, receiver wrench, and the alignment dowels for a FAL?

I never ended up doing it....just been busy. However I do have a co-worker who has all the FAL tooling. We are both machinists too......oh the fun we can have

I've shortened a FAL barrel on the lathe and didn't have to take the barrel off.

Did you put the receiver in a 4 jaw and the barrel in a steady rest?

Could you describe your set up?
