Anyone have any first hand recent experience with the Greenwater Pit?

I cant seem to find any definitive information on if shooting is still tolerated at the site. I have read both that it is closed now to shooting and that shooting is still allowed. Most of the information seems to be quite old.

Also is a "discover pass" required for legal access?

I've never heard of it, but you could probably call the local forest service office and check with them?

Call the Enumclaw Ranger Station and check before you drive all the way out there. The pit is on FS70.

And no, Discover Pass is not required. National Forest Pass is.
