Ben, check the Nestucca for some good action for Steelhead right now, and the springers will be showing very soon.

You probably mean ocean fishing, but yesterday my neighbor took me drift boat fishing on the McKenzie River. We hit a March Brown hatch at about 2:00 and nailed them. Rainbows.

Caught two lingcod and two Chinook in the ocean off Newport last week and finished the week with a steelhead in the Willamette. Springer fishing has been anything but great so far this year. We need some rain. Hopefully tomorrows rain will bring some fish into local rivers.
    Good luck to all.
