I have used a guide rod laser from lasermax for years in my Glock. It works great, unobtrusive & good battery life. I have had zero cycling or really any other type of issue. In the glock, the activation switch is perfect (its the takedown button right where the shooting finger rests on the frame).
The one above seems nice, but man does it look goofy.
