I wouldn't "chase reports".
It's late January (good enough).
Know your favorite levels for your particular river.
The best online river level page...Oregon levels
Don't pay attention to the Low, Okay, High comments on theft....those are for kayakers and often do not pertain to prime fishing levels.

Looks like everything's a little high.
The Wilson and Sandy will probably fish tomorrow.

Pro Tip:
When the Wilson is too high, the Kilchis is often perfect.

I mucho enjoyed fishing the Sandy this time of year and even a little later. DD gives great advice... watch those river levels.

Ya know, the Sandy is close enough for a drive by to check water color, etc. In my experience, if the run is in, there will be old guys fishing from the bank.
