I have a 1991 Force 50 on my Starcraft that died end of last year, Earlier this summer I got it in the shop and discovered a broken ground wire from the block to the ignition module plate that seemed to be the problem so I fixed it and everything seemed to be ok until last weekend when I was ready to head out to the lake and no fire again! The ground wire I repaired is ok, all ignition circuits are ok, there is power to the ignition module and the emergency 'rip cord' kill switch is working ok. My question is are there any common ignition problems I should concentrate on looking for? Can the ignition module be bench tested? I would like to believe the module is not the problem as it was not the first time but I cannot be sure now. Any help will be appreciated.
