Any left leaning shops or ranges?

It isn't her appearance I'm poking fun at. It is the hypocrisy of flying in private jets and using disposable cups, traveling first class, then lecturing everyone else to live green. She's old enough to be criticized for that dishonesty.

Part of me applauds her for bringing awareness. Yes, lots of hypocrisy involved too but we could all do a little more to save this sphere we occupy. However, she really just needs to cool it and quit the holier-than-thou attitude. People who hate her because they don't believe in climate change or refuse to believe facts are another issue.

Liberal does not automatically equal gun grabber despite what you see on TV. What I've more commonly seen is the acceptance that too many dumb people exist so common sense gun laws are supported, training should be required (we need a license to drive a car after all), etc. Pro2A folks populate each side, the extremes of both are the problem.

Personally, I miss the days when people could interact without constantly declaring their political affiliation, personal pronoun choice or vaccine status.

But I've also seen a lot of strange things this last 18 months. Strange times make for strange bedfellows.

Nicki Minaj getting red pilled. Socialists buying firearms to protect themselves. BLM/Antifa inviting Trump supporters to join them at protests against vax mandates. Just to name a few...

Maybe we are witnessing the law of unintended consequences? Have authoritarians pushed an unwanted agenda long enough that even rivals will come together to resist?

Heck, we had locals declaring they'd hunt down every blue voter in town. As I mentioned in another post I've also had a fellow admit he'd outright murder a liberal if he met one (he didn't seem like the brightest guy overall, the underbite didn't help). Yes, there are fools on both sides. After all, we recently had a president threaten millions of Americans with F-15's and nukes, so foolishness can go all the way to the top.

I think there a few (and hopefully growing number of) wiser people starting to realize that we are being played by a group who would like nothing more than to create animosity among the people and watch us destroy ourselves from within. It is divide and conquer.

I used to think it was kinda twisted that Dad had me watch that when I was young.

However, we see what raising generations that want to re-write history instead of learn from it causes.

Since folks who vote 2A as a priority seem willing to tolerate the contradictory libertarian and anti-freedom positions most politicians who claim to be 2A promote, my advice is to avoid talking politics at the range or on this forum. If you can avoid that and focus on the hobby/sport and be respectful of others as humans you'll be fine.
