I've been thinking maybe I should share a few projects.
Quite often someone will have an older firearm and think it's beyond saving. Or maybe it's not worth re-bluing.
I usually take lots of photos just for my own reference. Maybe I should start sharing some if anyone is interested.

Here is a pawn shop pick up. Under $200
MK IV series 80 9mm Conversion slide and a nice Essex frame. It's soon to be a .38 Super. Getting it read for blue here.
When this came in it had been sanded with 150 grit sandpaper :eek: and then spray painted flat black:(.

Soon it will be beautiful once again! :)

I love seeing restoration and gunsmithing projects. For guys like me, who arent lucky enough to be taught in person, the internet is our best resource to learn these skills!

The more information the better.

My dad taught us that you can do anything you put your mind to, but there are professionals out there for a reason.
