Any good Recommendations for 1911 work?

I have a Colt Mark IV Series 80 Officer ACP and I would like to have new sights put on it. The rear are dove tailed but the front is fixed. Im not sure if I want to keep it and invest or sell/trade it for something else. Any thoughts?
