I dont even have words anymore... 💔

I hold in my hand the envelopes. As a child of four can plainly see, these envelopes have been hermetically sealed. They've been kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's porch since noon today. No one knows the contents of these envelopes, but you, in your borderline divine and mystical way, will ascertain the answers having never before seen the questions.

*opens envelope*

I will now read what is written on the card . . . it says, "We followed protocol"

The definition of insanity.......

Another school shooting unfolds and the left will scream for more BGC, AW bans, GFZs, mandatory training, ammo taxes and whatever else gun control laws that would never have prevented the shooting.
The right will blame it on mental health issues, meds, lack of morals, lack of parenting, bullying, teen depression at an all time high.

And in the end we will find the shooter suffered from any combination of mental health issues, side effects of meds, lack of parenting, depression....

Well.....start the lawsuits aginst the FBI.

Georgia school shooting suspect on FBI radar since 2023 as possible threat after online remarks

Once again... DftE5ZLWAAAVNgC.jpeg

Why do we even need the FBI to mess things up?

It's just more of the same ole, same ole. The Biden/Harris DoJ strike again…

America cash in these ineffective politicians for ones that will uphold your rights and punish criminals and criminal behavior…

So...
  • The kid was known and contacted by law enforcement a year earlier for making threats of shooting up a school
  • Somehow even with the previous contact by law enforcement, a 14 year old was still able to obtain an AR platform (according to the news) rifle. We don't know how he got the rifle yet but it's a pretty safe assumption that his parents failed to properly secure the weapon...even with the previous contact by law enforcement
  • There was a phone call to law enforcement earlier in the day saying that five schools would be shot up and Apalachee High School was going to be first
Once again parents and law enforcement had PLENTY of visibility to this potential problem and...once again...they still totally and completely failed to prevent it from happening.

So because of this, they will now come after my gun rights...again.

Do I have this about right?

As a side note, there's a real good chance that Mom and Dad will end up in jail over this because that's the way these things have been going lately. This assumes, of course, that they were negligent in allowing the kid access and we don't have all the facts yet. But how the hell does a 14 year old get his hands on an AR/AK otherwise?

Yup.

Because it's not a mental health issue, nor a bad actor issue.... it's those dang guns that grow hands and feet out wreaking havoc... dontchaknow?? 🤣

The other side of the aisle blocks every effort to try and address the underlying issues because it can only be about the guns. While schools remain gun free target rich environments without adequate security screening at the doors and windows.

As long as schools maintain their open door freely come and go policies and... give the green flag inviting shooters into an unopposed free for all shooting range... it will continue to happen. It's as simple as that.

The complete disconnect is just baffling. I mean... even the average Joe or Jane knows that home invasions happen, right? What do they do? They certainly don't leave their doors unlocked and let anyone enter as they please, right? They install good locks, ring cameras, electronic security systems, outdoor motion activated lighting and.... keep a firearm in the house.

If most people agree those measures are prudent in the home to protect themselves and their children... why would it not be prudent in a school where a parent isn't there to protect their own?

I lay the blood of the innocent solely on those that refuse to secure our schools and address the issues that fuel these types of incidents.

Almost certainly the parents or a family member have something to do with it, and of course the Democrats will argue for safe storage laws.

What's funny? Some states already have safe storage laws and it still doesn't prevent determined children from gaining access to them.

There was an incident where a minor stole a firearm from the home... that had a trigger lock on it... and the parents are still being sued because the prosecution claims that a trigger lock is nothing but a meaningless and flimsy token gimmick to satisfy the law, but wholly inadequate to meet the "safe storage" standard.

Short of no firearms in the home at all, there is no end to what they will deem as "insufficient".

This is the other "reality" people live in. So the law they passed worked but they still want to control your freedoms and punish anyone who doesn't believe in their reality.

Note: Georgia doesn't have a safe storage law.

Would be nice to get details on pharmaceuticals prescribed and/or ingested by the perp. Of course that information is invariably hard to come by, not necessarily for confidentiality issues but bc it could create a furor over pharma. Not to mention it would be more difficult to then politicize how it was the gun's fault.
