You would be hard pressed to find a company that wants to do business in a place where all of their products are illegal to sell or own. Good for them.

I think you'll find that they see it a a morale victory - one that shows how 'powerful' the anti-gun lobby is in the their state, and not as one where citizens of that state are being deprived of thie livelihood. In fact, I think you'll also find that the bailers will end up getting blamed for the rise in unemployment due to thier' uncaring' attitude' to their former employees, and the uncaring capitalist-style insistence on $$$ coming before the welfare of their employees. I can 'see' it now - 'XYZ gun company deserts the state, leaving employees without hope of a future in using their specialist skills.'

To simplfy matters, here is the programme -

1. State passes gun ban.

2. Manufacturer in-state moves to a more gun-friendly state, taking as many as they can of their skilled workforce with them - hard to do, but they try.

3. State legislature/representatives howl - XYZ deserts its faithfull workers for $$$$$$!!!!

4. Shill for the state legislature - a former worker - moans on PBTV about being left in the lurch with no hope of future employment in his or her specialised field of expertise.

5. State legislature goes on PBTV saying that 'THIS is how gun companies treat their faithful workers - aren't you glad they have gone?'

Result - guilty/bad feeling all round, except in the state capitol, where they are crowing their success in getting rid of more guns than ever before.

Have I got it right?
