The only thing I don't like about moving closed ads is that then removes them from the appropriate section into a section that may be missed.
When I browse a particular classified section I don't have any problems with seeing closed ads mixed in... I figure as I get more pages in and the more closed ads show up then I assume I am getting into the OLD ads.
Keeping the open and closed together gives me a sense of what similar items have recently sold/been traded for.
I do agree that having a "new" icon for the new posts would help alleviate some of the issues with visibility of new ads. Joey is looking into implementing this but he's gotten busy lately so patience is required before we can expect to see this "change".
