If you were not, you would support all pro gun groups and concentrate on fighting against the anti gun bills in Oregon. Question what was the last law the NRA pushed through Oregon in the gun owners benefit? I honestly cant think of one recently where the NRA was the primary driving force.

Wayne LaPierre; NRA tax returns show he earned $835,000 in salary and $126,000 in other compensation in 2010.

$961,000 + I'd bet he has no meal costs, or transportation, or phone costs, or.......

And I can't even get a return call from one of his "employees"????????????

I visit Oregon often ( Elks Events/ Shakespeare & B&B in Ashland, Giant Milsurp Superstore near Medford, My AK/AKM builder is in Talent (My Guns/ Matt "Turbothis" Yeemans) ... that said I have not been an NRA member in 10 years and wonder if Glen Beck was onto something recently...

I have family in Burney however Ca politics are thier concern not mine I dont live there.I expect the same in return. If you want to tell Oregonians about how to deal with Oregon laws then becomr a citizem. Until then fix your own state.

there is nothing wrong with questioning the actions, or lack of, from an organization thats supposedly is saying they represent you. Accusing people for working for the antis is just as hypocritical..... none of us here are supporting the antis.

Believe me, NORTHERN Northern CA is NOT anything like the rest of the state.

I remember having to follow Southern CA laws, which had NO PLACE in Northern NORTHERN CA.

I only wish I had been the only Californian ever to move to Oregon.......

But it's hypocritical for the minority in one state to criticize the minority in another for "not doing enough," or "supporting the wrong party." Not everyone is as absolute as some are. If you don't care about anything but gun issues then your voting choices are relatively simple usually. If you have other factors in your voting choices then that's your prerogative. On this board it seems like lots of people demand freedom and then verbally accost people who freely choose differently than they do. And as to what Ruby pointed out, if the minority rising up and changing things is as easy as certain individuals seem to claim it is, why is their own state still ruled by one ideologue?

We have roughly 40 million inhabitants in my state (if you include 1.9 uncounted Illegals to go with the 2 million + counted ones) so saying why don't you fix your own state is saddening from you guys who actually have a chance to stall & push back the Democrat Socialist Progressive Zeitgeist in your State.
