I present for consideration and Japanese Arisaka Type 38 in 6.5 Jap.

Imperial chrysanthemum has been filed/ground off (allegedly by the Japanese before their surrender in order to save face). Serial number and markings date this to being produced in Tokyo before 1935 at the Koshikawa arsenal. The Koshikawa arsenal made Type 38's between 1906-1935. This rifle is in excellent condition for its age. Both bluing and wood are the nicest I've seen for an 80 year old rifle that made it through at least one world war.

As you can see below, someone pointed out the firing pin, spring and safety knob are missing. These parts are available online and cost around $110 - lowered price accordingly.

6/4 Now $250

do you have the rest of the bolt? like the firing pin spring safety knob

Uh oh. Didn't know anything was missing. Just inherited it a few months ago. I do not have any other parts. Looks like according to Numrich a complete bolt is $110 or the firing pin, spring and safety knob are around also. I'll adjust the price accordingly, or feel free to make an offer as-is.
