So the wife and I did a short road trip over the last few days. Headed down to the California redwoods, took I5 south (primarily) to get there. Last night coming home, driving north on highway 101, between Golden Beach and Bandon, we get a flat. It was about 8:30pm and we coasted to the shoulder with the hazards flashing. I went to work on getting the flat off/spare on. In that reasonably short time, I had four separate vehicles stop to offer assistance. I declined since fixing a flat really is a one man job but I must say, it's good to know there are good folk out here still. Yes, all four vehicles that stopped had OR plates.
And yes, at least two dozen blew by doing 65 mph! :)

They only stopped because you didn't have California plates! The folks from Washington don't seem to drive like the most of the folks from Kalifornia.

The last time I was in Washington a State policeman stopped me and gave me a ticket for not wearing a MC helmet.
The first thing he had me do once pulled over was to take it off.
