An oldy but goody- Aimpoint 1000

This is an older model Aimpoint red dot site. I had this mounted to a pistol but recently went back to iron sights. It is in fair shape and has served me well but i no longer need it. I find it's construction to be better than most economy red dot sites made today. It has a nine position dot intensity dial and a polarized filter. I don't have any pictures of it on my computer but here is a link to show what it looks like and it's features.....

I'd be interested in trading for some .223rem, 45 acp or a powder measure. Otherwise I'd take $50. I'd prefer ftf local pickup unless you've got a really good trade.

Btw. If anyone is interested in mounting this to a Ruger mkII- 22/45 i could thow in a B-square mount as well.

Fair shape as in its not a NIB item, I've had it for a while and it's been used. It's not trashed or anything. The lenses are fine. I will work on putting some pics up....

How about a trade for 5 boxes (100 rds) of Remington 55 gr .223?

I do have a Ruger 22/45 but hadn't really considered an electronic sight on it... I only use it to plink with- what's your experience with a red-dot for plinking? Overkill?

That sounds like a fair trade since I'm still not using it and it just sits on a shelf. Pm me with some contact info. As far as using it on my 22/45 for plinking, it worked great. I just prefered the iron sights and I wanted to holster the gun, which I couldn't do with the red dot installed. The b square mount could be used on any other scope/redot for the same pistol as well.
