Interesting take. If SBR is no longer legal in WA, why does the ATF continue to approve SBR in WA?
Because "assemble" is not one of the prohibited acts in HB1240. Manufacture, import, and distribution (transfer) are. To figure out what that means one should read the definitions.

But now, since it is 'registered', the state probably likes it more because they can now track the evil gun-thing when it single-handedly breaks out of its safe, loads itself with multiple high-capacity magazines, and goes out alone, late at night and commits 'gun violence' and indescriminately kills innocent things while it's owner is asleep and completely unaware.

Thank God for such common sense laws . . .
