Because the specified firearm was already 'in' Washington, thus it is still allowed, pistol, SBR, or rifle.

Because "assemble" is not one of the prohibited acts in HB1240. Manufacture, import, and distribution (transfer) are. To figure out what that means one should read the definitions.

But now, since it is 'registered', the state probably likes it more because they can now track the evil gun-thing when it single-handedly breaks out of its safe, loads itself with multiple high-capacity magazines, and goes out alone, late at night and commits 'gun violence' and indescriminately kills innocent things while it's owner is asleep and completely unaware.

The question was tranffering, such in moving from Oregon to Washington. It's something I'd actually like to do but their current leadership prevents it.

I'm pretty sure importing them is illegal. And making an "assault weapon" out of an already owned "assault weapon" is no issue.

I had two of one of my customers guns amnesty forms come back last Friday. Did the stock installs this weekend
