I returned some Winchester Super X .22 a few years ago because it was very unstable (FTF, FTE, weak ones stopping in the barrel). They stepped up and sent me vouchers, which I turned into satisfactory 12ga shells.

Now this. Not very confidence-inspiring...

I suppose they'll do the same/similar for anyone who returns the recalled stuff (just guessing).

Is this common with Winchester ammo as opposed to other name brands? Any similar issues with Winchester .45 ACP?

Win Stuff has always been great.
This kind of surprised me. Wonder if it is being made out of the country?
I stopped using the rem thunderbolt stuff, but never had any problem with Winchester,
and have shot about every caliber they ever made.

So...Winchester is going to send coupons for replacement ammunition at your local Winchester dealer? Wonder when that dealer is going to have any .22LR ammo?

I replaced my .22 with another brand, then used the Winchester vouchers at WalMart for shotgun ammo.

If Winchester wanted to do something really righteous, they'd send you back new .22 ammo - round for round.
