He is afraid of becoming Michael Less instead of Michael Moore...and he's waiting to be named propaganda minister by one of the far-left candidates.

They say in Arkansas that behind every successful Clinton man, there is a woman that gives him purpose. Of course, "purpose" is cylindrical, made of latex and is held in place with straps and buckles...lol :s0140:

Now you know why he always looked like a deer in the headlights anytime a reporter asked him if his presidency will survive all the probes.

The Brown Bess musket was the AK47 of the day. It had a smooth bore for rapid reloading, not rifling like a hunting rifle. It was designed for killing soldiers at 75 yards.....and it had a bayonet.

The Bill of Rights made sure that every citizen could own and carry the standard infantry weapon of the day. When the DOD issues plasma rifles in the 40 watt range, they will also be covered by the Second Amendment.

What seems ironic to me is :
Many of the people who want to ban certain firearms and magazines....are all about things being "fair and equal".

Well if some people give up these certain types of firearms and magazines...and others do not...how is that "fair and equal"...?
How is it 'fair and equal" if only one group is allowed to have certain types of firearms and magazines ...and other groups do not...?
How is making or forcing a choice on someone else "fair and equal"....?
Taking something away from someone , who has harmed no one....Is that "fair and equal"...?

'Course I know that there is a difference between "fair" and "equal"....Also I understand that the world is not , nor will it ever be "fair and equal"...One could argue that it also was not meant to be "fair and equal"...but that is a argument for a different thread.

To make my choice for me , to force the wants , needs and desires of someone else on me....is to take away my Freedom and my very life....to live under the whim and rule of others , who have zero interest in my well being...is not living , but slavery.

Amen Brother!

I believe previous generations may have referred to such behavior as "fascisim"... Or perhaps "socialism"... But what do I know... Especially before a decent caffeine load...

Here's a man that's admitted to 19 murders view on the matter. He goes off the rails at the end a bit, since...well. His first hand experience is in handguns, so his knowledge on the actual mechanics of rifles and whatnot came from the TV news in prison. Kinda got the "100 rounds a second" BS from them

Really makes sense apart from that misguided part

Treasonous tub of s@#t can shut the f@#k up.
I am surprised he hasn't croaked from diabetes.

Gravano? Either way you look at it, I've gotta disagree. If you're talking for the law abiding among us, giving up a crime boss was a good thing. If you're talking from the Mafia's perspective, Gotti made a whole lifestyle of breaking that vow of silence. Guy's "yay me" press parade did more damage to the Mafia than anything else. Only reason Gravano got arrested was Gotti running his mouth about a bunch of murders in an apartment that was bugged, they never had Gravano's voice on a single tape.

I remember an FBI agent talking about this kind of thing. Mentioned how we treated Russian defectors as heroes, but when a high end Mafia defector like Gravano turned, we start spewing...well, that. While the Mafia has done more damage in this country than Russia managed. Shakedowns are like tariffs, technically it's the entity getting hit with it, but it's really not. It's the end customers that wind up getting hurt, paying more for whatever they're purchasing to compensate for the skim.

Key point wasn't Gravano himself, though. His statement rings true, "Go ahead, do gun control. Take away guns from all the good people, I will always have a gun. Every criminal will always have a gun."

So instead of guessing just what someone who has been dead for over 200 years could foresee...
How bout...

Taking a look at just what and who we have become as a nation...and see if where we are now is inline with :
The Constitution...
The Bill of Rights...
The various other writings of America's Founders....

Are we as a nation acting in accordance with their ideas and principals...?
Are we even the same people now , that we were then...and are we capable of understanding and exercising the same Rights and responsibilities as laid out in their writings...?

It is impossible to know just what someone from the past would think of today...but its not impossible for someone of today , to reflect on the past and act for the future.

I've seen no evidence supporting the left's claims of what the Founding Fathers could or could not have envisioned in the future United States. These were exceptionally smart men... statesmen, entrepreneurs, contemporaneously tech-savvy individuals who fully understood that technology didn't and wouldn't cease in the 18th century. It's definitely one of their strawiest of strawmen.

On another note, check out the new tack they're trotting (or waddling)-out... "Future-Crime".

Actual statistics and verifiable numbers blow their more "rational" arguments to pieces, those involving crime rates, murders, gun-deaths, etc. The emotional arguments can be compelling to a sympathetic ear, but form no basis for legislative action (in a Constitutional republic). So which way to go now... ?

Oh... I know!
"What are they planning to DO with all those guns, HMMMmmm... ?"
... pass the gravy

In their minds it bolsters their argument for so-called red flag laws but also serves to break a trail into new avenues of due-process annihilation for gun owners.

This post contains Yuma's mixed-metaphor of the day... just pick one. Or collect the whole set!

"Why do you need a 30 caliber? You need something to protect your house. Get a .38"

Ummm... Sammy... You gettin' old, man.

..................And, the constitution is a "Living" document, subject to the needs and changes in society! Yea, Right! No where does it say any where that it is or can be modified, changed, or voided! There is but ONE way to change any part of it, and its nearly impossible to do!

...and a "clip" is an Asian gang member...
