Circa 1858-60 , .31 Cal. Allen & Wheelock Pocket revolver, only 61/4" long overall .
Rare, approximately 1,000 made..

~ Action functions perfect with tight lockup & has shiny rifled bore.~
Excellent example of transition from pepperboxes into revolvers.
These type revolvers served as valued hideaway backup pistols during the Civil War & on the frontier.

Pistol has very nice walnut grips with 98% of original varnish, the cylinder retains 100% of it's crisp roll-engraved small & large game scenes & retains 95% of it's original blue. Frame & barrel has approx. 20% blue that has turned to mostly to brown patina.
Book value is approx. $1,200, I will sell for $750.00 obo or consider trade for other flintlock or percussion pistols. I'm a black powder shooter so will consider antique or quality reproduction guns.
I will ship with Postal Money order & you pay cost of priority shipping & insurance.
If interested call Chuck between 9am & 8pm at 208/ 230-2820.
