As you know, the mag ban (10-round limit) has passed the state senate, and is now in the House. The House Civil Right & Judiciary committee will be discussing it on 2/16, and will decide whether to move it forward.

THIS IS THE TIME. PLEASE DO THIS.

EDIT: The easiest way is to simply follow scrid2000's links below:

Here are direct links to all three options:

If you are able to submit oral testimony via zoom, which is the best option if you can get the time off on Wednesday: https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/Testifier/Add?chamber=House&mId=29772&aId=146519&caId=19579&tId=2
If you do this, it is still worthwhile to do at least one of the other two options.

If you won't be available on Wednesday morning but are willing to leave a comment: https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/Testifier/Add?chamber=House&mId=29772&aId=146519&caId=19579&tId=4

If you are unable to do any of the above, you can still simply note your opposition here: https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/Testifier/Add?chamber=House&mId=29772&aId=146519&caId=19579&tId=3

If you followed the instructions above, you can stop reading here.

In short:
- Go to https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/house
- Select "Civil Rights & Judiciary" committee
- Select 2/16/22 10:00 meeting
- Then select "ESSB 5078 Large Capacity Magazines"

At this point, this is what your screen will look like:

Select one of the three options at the bottom. AT THE MINIMUM, please select "I would like my position noted for the legislative record"!

At the next screen, select your position ("Con" please!) and enter your information. If you are just noting your position for the legislative record, you are done.

THANK YOU!! We need to flood them, and NOW is the time!

Was my entry today.

Please do not support this bill to restrict a Non Criminals right to defend themselves.

Defunding the Police has led to a major rise in violent crime, the public needs more protection from criminals, not less.

Thank you so much.

By the way, if you're wondering if any of this matters . . . .

Hopefully many of you know who Representative Jim Walsh is. This is Jim: https://jimwalsh.houserepublicans.wa.gov/.

Jim is a huge ally to us, and he works tirelessly to support the 2A and other important issues. This guy is a non-stop machine, and if you follow him on Facebook then you know that.

I posted this action (to sign in to oppose ESSB 5078) on the WaGuns Facebook page, and Jim replied: "Yes! Clicking through and signing in "Con" to these bad bills is helpful. Thousands of people opposing the bill is useful in committee and floor debate."

If Jim says it helps, then it helps. If Jim wants us to do it, we need to do it. He'll be one of the guys fighting this tooth and nails, so let's support him in any way that we can!

THANK YOU ALL!
