ALL GUN OWNERS MUST JOIN THE NRA!

I hear a lot of gun owners complain about the National Rifle Association. “I was once a member but they spend to much time trying to get more money.” “I got tired of them always wanting money.” Well, figure it out! Our enemies-Obama, Feinstein and Schumer, etc-have a bottomless well of money from which to fight us-the United States Treasury! They can spend tons of money against us and never run out, because they control the printing presses! They pick all of our pockets to fund their nefarious actions. Whether we like it or not, we all are giving our enemies the money to use against us!
How can ANYBODY-including the NRA-compete with that? There is no way for anyone- who is NOT connected to the government-to even remotely come up with the kind of money that America’s Freedom Haters can get. If there is some other way for the NRA to get the funds they need to try to stand up to the avalanche of gun hating actions that the United States Government is currently unleashing against all of us, I’d like to hear about it.
Our resistance is actually pretty pitiful. The government controls the News Media-Television and newspapers. It has the backing of the evil United Nations’ New World Order. All the world’s Communistic countries-China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, and Europe’s Socialistic countries are behind Obama 100 PER CENT! The majority of the world’s nations have never known the kind of freedom that Americans once had. And, they are terrified that some of their slaves may start getting restless when they hear of our liberties. So, we gun owners have the entire world’s governments against us.
Therefore, if you do enjoy your freedom; if you do want to keep your guns; if you do want the great American experiment in Freedom to continue, then you should contribute to our first line of defense- the National Rifle Association! There are 80 to 90 million gun owners in America today. But only 4 million of them care enough to support the only pro gun organization that has ever been able to stand up to their enemies. There are several other good pro gun groups, Gun Owners of America (GOA), Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JFPO) and others. You should also join them! But none of them have the political know-how and clout of the NRA! Join the NRA NOW! Support them! And thank them that you are still able to “...keep and bear arms.” If the NRA goes down, all gun owners will go down with them. And, when gun owners go down, all freedom goes, too! But, as long as the NRA stands, we have a good chance to stand with them and remain free. Is that worth the small cost of membership?

2 birds with I stone , if you go to the ARPC gun show in Albany in March. They always seem to have a NRA table before the admission table and if you join The NRA you get a DISCOUNT ON ADMISSION!!!!

So protect ur 2A AND JOIN BEFORE THEY BAN GUN SHOW ALSO!!!!!!!

That's why I joined as a Lifetime member some years ago and have upgraded to Endowment, then Patron and now Benefactor.

With good reason, and no I must not join them.

Things the NRA does well:
- Markets
- Acts as a licensing body for training and competition
- Provides a wild wealth of knowledge and information

Things the NRA does poorly:
- Protects the 2nd Amendment
- Lobbies politicians for repealing bad gun laws
- Works on a state level to bring legal challenges against bad laws
- Markets itself as a civil rights group

Why does the NRA work so poorly to protect us? Simple. Money. If all our gun laws were suddenly hunky dory, there would be no need to fund them so well, and their staffers including LaPierre would be out of jobs. Creating fear and paranoia is a profitable business, and they know that. We're simply money filled puppets. If we weren't, they would have marketed Newtown into oblivion by now, instead they blamed video games.

Great. Idiots. They aren't a group for freedom, they're a group for revenue generation and wealth redistribution. Join if you have to, but until they do something of value, I'd avoid giving them a single dollar.

By the way, New World Order? Really? Alex Jones is FOS, and so is his NWO crap.

ETA - There are a good deal of pro-2a orgs out there that actually do positive things for us. Support them, or we will lose all of our rights. SAF is a great one.

I appreciate the other pro-gun groups, too. We should support all of them. But, when I read recently on Communist China's web site that China considers the NRA to be a terrorist organization, I decided then that the NRA can't be all bad. Obama and Swinestein have the full support of Communist China in their gun destruction program. But, they lack MY support! I'll stick with the NRA, GOA, and JPFO, and any other pro gun group.

I feel the 1st amendment is just as important as the 2nd. Because of that, i have yet to support the NRA. It would seem Wayne represents much of what i do not.

Quite a few posts here say something to the effect of "I don't give to the NRA because (fill in the blank here)". If the NRA isn't for you then fine. Find a 2A organization that you can support.

My wife, kids and myself are all members of the NRA, SAF, GOA, OFF. There are other worthy 2A organizations out there. Find one (or two or three) and be heard.

If you decide to sit on the sidelines and not let your voice be heard then you have nothing to complain about when your freedoms erode.

This thread reminds me of two quotes:

"We need to all hang together on this or we shall all hang separately", and "Bad politicians are elected by good people who do not vote."

I paraphrased a little. But these quotes are very wise and on point.
