Well...Lou Alessi unfortunately died on feb. 21 of this year, however after some seaching I found out that his daughter and extended family are keeping the company alive. I hope the holsters are to the same quality level as they were before. I have had a chance to feel and shoot with a couple of his holsters (never owned one though) and they are quite nice. The two holsters that built his name were the Alessi Bodyguard which is a shoulder holster and his famous ankle holster, but from my understanding they are all great. I just ordered an Alessi Bodyguard for my M&P .40 and he said it should be a couple of weeks. I called three shops that used to carry Alessi products and they all said that the business was done and everything Alessi related had died with him. This is not the case. So, for all those out there that want Alessi products....
