It's called Involuntary Manslaughter. If it wasn't a liberal Hollywierd actor, they'd already be in jail. The prop man didn't pull the trigger, Baldwin did. He violated the first rule of gun safety -- all guns are loaded until YOU check it.Alec Baldwin Fires Prop Gun on Set of 'Rust,' Killing Cinematographer, Injuring Director
A prop gun fired by actor and producer Alec Baldwin on a New Mexico set for the film “Rust” killed his director of photography and injured the director, according to officials.www.nbcconnecticut.com
NO! You get what you give!!!Does Alec Baldwin Deserve Decency?
I mean, the pilot of the helicopter in the Twilight Zone movie deserved decency despite decapitating an actor and killing two children.
Was HE held responsible? I cant remember! IF so STILL not comparable. One is designed to fly the other designed to KILL! If we equate the two than ANY device that leads to death on a movie set, like cars, props or even gravity, would be judged the same IMHO.I mean, the pilot of the helicopter in the Twilight Zone movie deserved decency despite decapitating an actor and killing two children.
No 'they' will not and have been working hard to make AB the 'victim' and convince 'themselves' this nothing more than an 'accident' and that it was 'acceptable' because he was making a movie and are attempting to rationalize it as such. But that is not how they will spin it.

That article had so many mistakes and misspellings that I wouldn't want to trust anything in it.AND not that it really matters but the 24 YO 'armorer' was previoulsy involved in another act of stupidity just last year:

I agree but in this case I cannot see anything that would prevent charging AB. If not this sets a bad precedent - I mean the next 'negligent' discharge from one who is holding a gun will just request the 'Alec Baldwin' defense. Was HE held responsible? I cant remember!
