"Assembled" and "made" can be blurred with marketing. Some industries are far better at labeling such things. Firearms components not being one of them.
Unless FN changed, Winchester 70 parts are made in the US, then shipped to the European HQ and assembled, then shipped back.

Optics are the worst. Not talking about genuine us made red dots but I've seen the same red dots sold under maybe 10 different names like sig, vortex, random Chinese name. Different label can increase cost 3 to 4 times for the exact same optic.
Optics are the worse... the way the world is now only so many places make glass or parts. The whole made in America means that some % is made here with world sourced parts. To advertise made in America only % has to be source here. Military contract are are same way 50% has to be Made or sourced state side.

Guys have been putting .22s in airsoft stocks for a long time. Just know that not all airsoft is created equally. Some of it is really well made, and some of it is the cheapest pot metal known to man. I know a few guys who were doing g36 conversions with airsoft parts before there was access to better options. Even then, the quality airsoft parts were holding up to 5.56.
