Ahrends grips, retro combats?

Anybody have opinions on these? They seem reasonably priced, especially compared to other options. I have a round butt 64 I'd like to put some square conversion grips on. I posted in the want to try forum also. Anybody around NW Oregon/SW Washington have a set I could hold? Maybe fire?

I've had any number of Ahrends grips over the years including the conversion grips. Mr. Ahrends makes excellent grips and I think you'd be very happy with them. He and his wife are nice people as well.
