There's a way to ensure she doesn't have any executive power, vote her sorry butt out of office and replace her with someone who can read, understand and apply the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Oregon....

Whew! That's one serious run on sentence...

If it were only that easy. If there were enough Constitutionalists and patriots that would vote the right way, we could correct Oregon's and the Northwest's problems real fast. Trouble is we are out numbered by all these unwashed beard faced plaid wearing coffee drinking headphone wearing bike riding hipster pukes who care less about the Constitution and individual rights other than to be a self centered millienal who wants it all right now and the hell with everybody else.

What is the 'Peter Principle'
The Peter principle is an observation that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence. The Peter Principle is based on the notion that employees will get promoted as long as they are competent, but at some point will fail to get promoted beyond a certain job because it has become too challenging for them. Employees rise to their level of incompetence and stay there. Over time, every position in the hierarchy will be filled by someone who is not competent enough to carry out his or her new duties.

So this is how elections go in Oregon.

There are 2,113,430 registered voters in Oregon. In the 2014 election there was a 35.9% turn out or 758,604. OK..you see 35% of the population makes the decisions that affects everyone.

There are 36,473 something STATE employees. Assuming spouses, significant others etc use a 1.70 multiplier there and you get 58, 356

There are 118,371 PERS retirees, use the same multiplier of 1.6 and you get 189, 393. Add those two together and you get 247,749

Then you have county employees, city employees, Federal employees. I am just going to guess that is double the number of State and PERS employees. There could be some overlap with the PERS, but that will cover other retirement systems. 495,498 or about 65%. 51% wins any election, so there is easily a 13% margin of error there

I am not saying all public employees will follow the other libs to the trough, but with those kinds of numbers you can see why the Republicans or conservatives have not held the state house since 1987, and no elected state office since the 1990's sometime. the 1.7 multiplier could be argued too, there may be more sympathy or solidarity votes for them out there too.

This state is hopelessly lost to the Demorat liberals, and until those numbers can change, it will stay the same. You can shoot all the holes in my numbers you want, but the fact is this is a liberal Democrat state and will likely stay that way. Research over.

Interesting concept, but there are exceptions. A lot of time when those incompetent employees reach a position of power / management / supervisory level, their entire focus is on suppressing any threat to their position by subordinate or lateral employees who are more competent and could possibly be a threat to them.

This requires a level of deception, manipulation, and flat out lying to maintain a fragile hold on their position, and their company or agency continues a lack luster performance and returns. Competent people leave these organizations for other opportunities.

Been there and left those a couple times.

So what I heard her just say is that she wants to shut down the black market which is the ONLY place a mentally unstable persons or "person dangerous to others" can get a gun.

Good luck with that stupid c$&@.

Exactly. Look at it from their point of view, not yours. It's not in their interest to make crime go away; we might get the idea we don't need them. This is the whole reason for the war on drugs, which makes utterly no sense otherwise.

It's impossible to be too cynical, where government is concerned.
